Dr. John Berger

DVM

Dr. Berger graduated from Oyster Bay High School in 1987. He served in the US Army as an infantry medic with the 101st Airborne. Dr. Berger received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He has practiced in general medicine, emergency medicine and shelter medicine. His professional interests include all aspects of soft tissue surgery. In his off time Dr. Berger enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing bass guitar and riding his Harley Davidson.

Dr. Laurel Brenton

DVM

Dr. Laurel Brenton, BVMS, MRSB, MRCVS graduated from veterinary school in Scotland in 2019, where she received extensive surgical training and developed a strong passion for veterinary surgery. Shortly after graduation, she began her surgical career by volunteering with a non-profit organization in Ukraine. Since then, she has established her own veterinary support program serving communities along the frontlines, providing critical care to animals in challenging circumstances.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Brenton is deeply involved in animal rescue through her work with TU-USA and other rescue initiatives. Her home is shared with five dogs, five cats, and two rabbits, along with a constantly changing number of foster dogs and cats. Through her clinical expertise, humanitarian efforts, and rescue work, Dr. Brenton is dedicated to improving the lives of animals both locally and abroad.At home I have 5 dogs, 5 cats, 2 rabbits, and an ever changing number of foster dogs and cats from my rescue work. Tina is a NY state licensed veterinary technician with several years of experience in the field including general practice, emergency medicine, and rescue. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, cooking, and the New York Yankees.

Katie has been in the veterinary field for a little over 3 years. She enjoys working in the fast paced environment and lending a hand wherever she can. In her free time she enjoys traveling, volunteering at local animal shelters, spending time with family, friends, and her 3 fur babies.
